San Francisco Children’s Musical Theater (SFCMT) summer theater programs are dedicated to helping young performers and Bay Area Kids between the ages of 5 and 25 take part in professional quality theatrical productions. Kids who audition and take part in our summer theater programs work with real theater professionals in order to develop their talents to the fullest and in order to be truly ready for the stage. Our fun and simple 10 week programs feature Saturday-only rehearsals, allowing students from Rohnert Park and the surrounding Bay Area to participate in our productions, while still being as easy on busy families as local parks and recreation programs.
The final production isn’t the full story. Our summer theater programs for kids also instill life values, such as creativity, discipline, corporation, and more. Children who finish a production often have a whole new perspective on their talents, abilities, and future. Our summer theater programs are great way to hone life skills as well as theater and performance skills. Stepping out on the stage is a transformative experience – one that every Rohnert Park and Bay Area teen, kid, and youth should have.
