San Francisco Children’s Musical Theater (SFCMT) offers Larkspur children, teens, and youth ages 5-21 with experience in creative dramatics and musical theater. Programs are supervised by director John Bisceglie, who has more than two decades of experience in professional, community, and commercial productions. All summer programs end with a live production in front of a real audience so that children and teens get to see what live theater is really like. Along the way, Larkspur children and teens learn all about discipline, co-operation, creativity, and hard work. Oh, and they have fun, too. The 10 week children’s summer theater programs are designed to offer lots of excitement and fun. From the excitement of performing in front of a live audience to the fun of trying on incredible professional quality costumes, our summer theater program lets children really enjoy themselves.
Like your favorite parks and recreation programs, our 10 week children’s summer theater programs rehearse only on Saturdays, making it easy for busy Larkspur families to take part. Plus, we never expect or demand that parents participate in our SFCMT summer theater programs. However, many families do decide to take part by volunteering.
