If you’re looking for an exciting Moraga children’s musical theater summer program, a short drive to the San Francisco Children’s Musical Theater (SFCMT) may be just what you’re looking for. Our 10 week summer programs give Moraga and Bay children the chance to work with a real theater professional and allow them the opportunity to put on a professional quality production in a historic San Francisco theater. Children, teens, and youth between the ages of five and 21 from Moraga and the Bay Area are welcome. We take care to foster every child’s talents, so children and teens who join our summer theater program learn about the theater even as they have fun and meet new friends.
Taking part in our summer theater program for children and youth begins with an audition. You can join our mailing list to learn about audition times, or check our web site. Once you select an audition, be prepared to sing about 45 seconds or about 16 bars of any song. Look for a song that really shows off your voice and your personality. A dynamic song is often best. Rehearse at home so that you can sing with confidence, and come in clothing that allows you to move and dance comfortably. Please wear closed toe shoes to your audition, to enable dancing and movement. When coming to an audition for the SFCMT summer theater program, make sure to bring a photo of your child.
