Are you a Pittsburg parent with a star-struck child? If so, what better way to develop your child’s skills and talents than by signing up for the San Francisco Children’s Musical Theater (SFCMT) kids summer theater programs? If your child loves to sing and dance or has a fascination with famous people, the SFCMT summer theater program gives your child the opportunity to perform in a high quality production in front of a live audience in a real San Francisco theater. SFCMT is a theater company specifically for young performers, and our summer theater programs give Pittsburg and Bay Area youth and teens ages 5-21 the opportunity to build their dancing, signing and performing skills – all while taking part in a theater production. Artistic Director John Bisceglie brings his twenty years of theater experience to the summer program to ensure a high level of professionalism.
Our professional quality productions are well known and well-attended, so children get the real flavor of working on a successful production. Along the way, Pittsburgh and Bay Area kids, teens, and youth learn all about discipline, self-confidence, poise, music, theater, and much more. All are life skills that can be translated into every area of their lives long after the final curtain is drawn.
