Some of the students who have been part of past San Francisco Children’s Musical Theater (SFCMT) summer program productions have gone on to study theater and many have continued to take part in our summer children’s theater program as volunteers and supporters. Families from Sonoma and the Bay Area who have been part of our children’s musical theater summer programs have found their experiences so rewarding that many have been inspired to maintain a close link to the theater. Many alumni of our summer theater program have told us that participating in a professional quality theatrical production was an exciting and profound experience, one that taught them discipline, self-confidence, and creativity. At SFCMT, we are proud to have worked with so many talented young performers from Sonoma and the Bay Area.
We are constantly looking for new young performers in the Sonoma and Bay Area who are looking beyond parks and recreation programs for children’s musical theater summer programs. Our ten-week programs are designed specifically for busy Sonoma and Bay Area families, which is why we rehearse only on Saturdays.
