If you live in Hillsborough and are between the ages of 5 and 21, you qualify for the San Francisco Children’s Musical Theater (SFCMT) summer kids theater program. It’s a unique summer theater program designed specifically for kids and teens who want to work on a professional-quality production with other youth from Hillsborough and the entire Bay Area.
Our summer theater programs are designed to foster talent, creativity, and fun in every child. Everybody who takes part in our programs is supported and encouraged in their talents, and the final result is a professional quality production in a historic theater in San Francisco in front of a live audience. The thrill of practicing, fostering, and developing a role are all here. All you need to bring is your talent and your sense of adventure and fun. We believe in helping every child realize their full potential and their talent, so this is a great way to engage in something that’s fun and supportive. Plus, our rehearsals are only on Saturdays, so were the perfect solution for the busy Hillsborough family. Even if you’re already taking part in your local Hillsborough parks and recreation programs, you can still be taking part in SFCMT productions and theater events that will leave you with a lifetime of memories.
