Are you looking for a positive summer experience for your teen or child in the Half Moon Bay Area? San Francisco Children’s Musical Theater (SFCMT) offers fun, learning, co-operation, and respect – all in a musical theater environment created just for kids and youth. Our ten week children’s theater arts summer program is designed for Bay Area kids, teens, and youth ages 5 to 25. Our program helps teach would-be actors and theater professionals all the areas and work that go into a theater production. At the end of the ten week programs, kids and teens take part in a live theater production in front of a real audience in one of San Francisco’s historic landmark theaters. Along the way, children, teens, and youth learn about self-respect, confidence, creativity, costumes, and so much more. It’s a great way for children to expand their horizons, meet other kids from the Half Moon Bay area and the surrounding San Francisco Bay area – all while working
together for something positive.
Like many parks and recreation programs, our summer program only meets on Saturdays, so the short drive from Half Moon Bay to San Francisco is even simpler. Plus, we are very flexible about parent participation, so that busy Half Moon Bay families don’t have to purchase a ton of tickets or volunteer unless they really want to.
