San Francisco Children’s Musical Theater (SFCMT) offers auditions for teens and Bay Area kids ages 5-25 for its musical theater summer programs. Our summer theater programs are designed specifically for kids and teens. Specifically, our programs are designed to help children and teens develop their full potential by learning all about every aspect of putting on a professional quality theater production. All our summer theater programs end with a quality theater production of Pleasant Hill and Bay Area performers, and all performances take place in a real 1000-seat San Francisco theater in front of a live audience.
Since the SFCMT summer theater program for children was founded by director John Bisceglie, a theater professional with more than 20 years of industry experience, our summer theater productions offer a high level of professionalism and quality. We hire only an experienced and professional staff, resulting in amazing costumes, delightful choreography, and high overall production value. This ensures that everybody who takes part in San Francisco children’s musical theater has fun but also participates in an exciting show that they can invite friends and family to proudly. It’s a wonderful way to experience the magic of musical theater while having fun and meeting new friends from Pleasant Hill and the whole Bay Area.
